How to Use Computer?

I think you know little bit about computer and how to use it. PC scan use a to type documents, send email in online, browse the Web accounting management, database management, and playing games, and many more. OK let’s talk about Computer hardware; it is the collection of physical parts of a computer system which includes the, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard disk, DVD drive, motherboard, video card, and many others. You may know about the computer case, keyboard, and monitor, which is easy to know. But, there are many types of hardware components. Today I share different components of computer and what they do.

The computer cases are made using aluminum, steel, or both and plastic also. Computer cases can find in different shapes and sizes. It cover the motherboard, CPU, power supply etc.

Motherboard is the computer's main circuit board. It connects directly or indirectly to every parts of the computer like memory, hard drive and optical drives, expansion and USB ports. Motherboard is heart of computer, it determining what features the computer can support.

Keyboard:

Data and instructions are entered into computer through a keyboard, which is attached to a microprocessor or the terminal of mini or large computer. A keyboard is similar to the keyboard of typewriter. It contains alphabets, digits special character, functional keys and control keys. When a key is pressed an electronic signal is produced which is detected by an electronic circuit called keyboard encoder. A keyboard encoder may be special IC or single chip microprocessor used as encoder .the function of encoder is to detect which key has been pressed and to send binary code to computer.

The different types of PC keyboard are: 

a) XT keyboard : 83 keys

b) AT keyboard : 101 keys

Mouse: 

A mouse is a pointing device.  It is held in one hand and move across a flat surface. Its movement and direction of movement is detected by two rotating wheels on underside of the mouse. Each wheel is connected to shaft encoder which emits electrical pulses for every interdental movement of wheel.

When a user moves the mouse across a flat surface the cursor of CRT screen also moves in the direction of mouse’s movement. A mouse may have two or three buttons. Scroll and cordless mouse have also been developed.

There are 3 types of mouse

a) Mechanical mouse: it has a rubber or metal ball on its underside able that can roll in all directions.

b) Optomechanical mouse: it uses optical sensors to detect motion of ball.

c) Optical mouse: it uses a laser to detect mouse’s movement.

is used to communicate with the computer, initiating various actions by typing keys or clicking a button. It is necessary parts of computer you cannot use your computer without this hardware tools.  Keyboard is necessary for typing text and mouse is used pointing to a function on the screen and clicking. .
