It is most important in Search engine optimization.  Indexing is method of creating index for all web pages and keeping them into a database. Crawling can do with software like crawler or a spider, Google-bot.

On page means providing good and quality content, keyword in right place, Meta description, ALT tags, h1 tags, internal link structure, XML and HTML site map, good keywords selection, research and testing etc.

Off page includes submitting in open directories, link exchange, link building, submit on search engines etc.

SEO copywriting:

It includes an increased amount of search engine popularity or more visitors. With SEO copywriting peoples get valuable web traffic without spending hundreds of dollars on paid advertising.In my word, if a writer writes website content about that which is loved by people and search engines is called SEO Copywriting. Successful copywriter will research keywords and keyphrases that attract website traffic.
